What can I expect from the event?
Khufu's Horizon: Journey to Ancient Egypt is an immersive and groundbreaking expedition that takes you back to the golden age of ancient Egypt, allowing you to explore the depths of the iconic pyramids, meet the goddess Bastet, observe the mummification process, and much more! Embark on a journey to the past already experienced by more than 2 million people with the Horizon of Khufu!
Where does the experience take place?
Fever Hub Madrid | Immersive Experiences, C. de Raimundo Fernández Villaverde, 57, Tetuán, 28003 Madrid. Entrance is on the street between Orense 3 and Orense 5.
Does the experience take place indoors or outdoors?
This experience takes place in an enclosed, air-conditioned venue.
How long does the experience last?
The immersive virtual reality experience lasts approximately 45 minutes. However, we recommend allowing an hour in total to drop off your belongings and collect/return the equipment.
Will food and drinks be available for purchase on site?
A limited selection of snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase at this event.
Is there parking?
The venue does not have private parking, but there are several car parks nearby and very good public transport links.
Will there be additional sessions?
Check the experience page for up-to-date information on availability, as these are the confirmed dates and times.
In what languages is the experience presented?
The expedition is available in two languages: English and Spanish.
Can I take photos or record the experience?

Flash photography and tripods are not permitted. Professional photography is only allowed with permission from staff.
Do you offer guided tours?
We have staff at every stage of the experience, as well as a virtual guide. Staff will always be available to help you.
What is the minimum age and height requirement to participate?
The minimum age is 10 years old. All children are the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians.
Is there a dress code?
We recommend comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear. Avoid wearing caps or hats, as a VR helmet will be used. For safety reasons, please store your backpacks and bags in the lockers provided on site.
How many people can participate at the same time?
A group consists of 4 people, but several groups of 4 can tour together.
Can you sit down during the experience?
No, it is designed for you to walk for 45 minutes. We can make adjustments for people with reduced mobility.
What does the equipment consist of?
It includes an adjustable virtual reality headset.
Are personal backpacks allowed?
No, they must be left in the lockers or cloakroom on site.
Are there lockers or a cloakroom?
Yes, both are available on site.

Do you offer school visits?
Yes, the experience is an excellent activity for schools and camps interested in exploring history, art, and technology. We offer preferential prices for school groups and will work with you to create a fun and enriching experience for your students. For more information, please contact us at

Can private or corporate tours be booked?
Does the entire group have to arrive together?
Yes, to enter together. If you arrive separately, please purchase tickets individually.

Where can I get tickets?
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, but they may be sold out. We recommend purchasing them in advance. We do not accept cash purchases.
Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It's as easy as clicking "Transfer tickets" on your ticket in the Fever app. Please
contact us if you need additional help. Be sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (available for download from the
Apple App Store or
Google Play). Remember to log in using the same login method you used to make your purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, in the tickets section. You will also receive your tickets in the purchase confirmation email. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the
Apple App Store or
Google Play. Remember to log in with the same account you used when purchasing the tickets. If you still can't find your ticket, please
contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you wish to make a change, please
contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. You can also check if this option is available by checking your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app, where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of your ticket.

ABOUT ACCESS TO THE EVENT
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the time indicated on your ticket. If you miss your registration time, please speak to a member of staff upon arrival for assistance. If possible, we will try to accommodate you by granting you access to the venue upon arrival. Otherwise, unfortunately, you will lose your ticket.
What are the nearest stations? What is the best public transportation?
The closest metro stations are Nuevos Ministerios, about a 5-minute walk away, and Santiago Bernabéu (line 10), about a 7-minute walk away. In addition, several bus lines (such as 3, 5, 43, and 126) stop very close by, just a 1-3 minute walk away, with the Orense-San Germán stop being particularly convenient, just 1 minute away.
What items are prohibited during the experience?
No items that may disturb other visitors are allowed, such as the use of flash photography or the consumption of alcohol. For the safety of all attendees, it is prohibited to carry firearms, knives, pepper spray, or any object that may cause harm (at the discretion of the venue management).
Are chairs available? Can I sit down during the experience or exhibition?
This is a walking tour experience, but if you need to rest, you will find some seats available to take a short break.
Will there be restrooms available on site?
Yes.
Is there a lost and found area?
We recommend asking the venue staff if they have found your belongings. If you are unable to do so in person, please
contact us.
ACCESSIBILITY, HEALTH, AND SAFETY
Is the experience accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, the experience is accessible. The venue has street-level access and is fully adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Do you offer tickets for companions or caregivers?
Visitors who require assistance during the experience are entitled to request a free pass for their companion or personal assistant at the entrance to the venue. If companions would like to do the immersive experience, they will need to have their own ticket.
Could the virtual reality experience be uncomfortable or unsuitable for certain people?
Virtual reality offers an enjoyable experience but may be uncomfortable for some people. It is not recommended for those who suffer from claustrophobia and/or vertigo. People prone to motion sickness may also experience discomfort when using a virtual reality headset, which could cause symptoms such as drowsiness and increase the risk of injury during real-world activities.
Is the experience accessible to people who are deaf or visually impaired?
The visual content of our immersive expedition does not have subtitles and is therefore not suitable for people with hearing impairments. We are working to make all our experiences inclusive and recommend that you explore other options available in your city.
Will there be strobe lights?
This event will not include strobe lights.
Is this experience safe if I am pregnant?
Please note that during pregnancy, some people are more prone to dizziness, and the floor will be a hard surface throughout the experience. For safety reasons, we do not recommend this experience for pregnant people. However, the visual content itself does not pose a risk during pregnancy. If you decide to attend while pregnant, we recommend consulting with your doctor beforehand. Please note that at one point during the experience you will be asked to crouch down to access one of the chapters.
Can the experience be enjoyed with a child in a baby carrier or stroller?
No. The equipment used (computer on the back and headphones on the head) is incompatible with carrying a baby in a baby carrier, whether on the chest, back, or in a stroller.
Can someone with a heart condition or epilepsy participate in the virtual reality experience?
No. Unfortunately, people with heart conditions or epilepsy cannot participate in our immersive virtual reality expedition.
Can children do the virtual reality experience on their own?
The experience is suitable for children aged 10 and over, with a minimum height of 1.30 m (4'3''). Children under the age of 10 or who do not meet this minimum height requirement will not be able to participate, even if carried by an adult, for technical and safety reasons. Children between the ages of 10 and 12 must be accompanied. Minors are the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians, and one of them must sign a consent form in person if they wish their child to use a virtual reality headset, acknowledging the risks and authorizing their participation. Please note that the accompanying adult will not be able to supervise or assist the minor during the VR experience.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Due to multi-user tracking technology, service dogs are only allowed in seated experiences to avoid collisions with other participants within the virtual reality environment.
Can I wear glasses?
Yes, people who wear glasses can enjoy our virtual reality expedition. Our staff will be available to help you position the headset correctly.
For visitors with prescription glasses, we recommend wearing regular reading glasses, as other types, such as progressive lenses, may reduce the quality of the visual experience.
I use hearing aids, can I participate in the experience?
Yes, a person who wears hearing aids can follow and hear the content of the experience. The virtual reality headset has small speakers that emit sound close to the ears.
