Equipped with a virtual reality headset, the experience takes you on a journey through ancient Egypt and the customs of the time. This expedition is full of scientific, cultural, and ethnological references to explore the era of the pharaohs.
An Authentic and Unique Adventure

The 'Horizon of Khufu' Immersive Expedition has been designed to be as accurate as possible. After several years of research and data collection in the field, in collaboration with Peter Der Manuelian, Professor of Egyptology, and his team from the Giza Project at Harvard University, the experience has come to life. The goal is to offer you an experience based on real data, combining architecture, science, and history, for an authentic immersion.

What can I expect from the event?

Put on your virtual reality headset and fasten your seatbelt! With Horizon of Khufu travel thousands of years back to the heart of Ancient Egypt. Discover the secrets of one of the seven wonders of the world with an innovative concept: the immersive expedition. Explore the Great Pyramid of Giza as it was over 4500 years ago. Walk through its mysterious corridors, enter the Queen's Chamber and even try to decipher some hieroglyphs, in a unique experience in Lisbon.

Does the experience take place indoors or outdoors?

This experience takes place indoors with air conditioning.

How long does the experience last?

This experience has an estimated duration of 45 minutes but reserve 1 hour.

Will food and beverages be available for purchase on-site?

No food or beverages will be available for purchase at this event.

Is parking available?

There will be no parking available at the venue, however, there are paid car parks in the area.

Will there be additional sessions?

We cannot guarantee that there will be extra dates. Please check the experience page for updated availability information, as these are the confirmed dates and times.

Will there be Virtual Reality?

This is a virtual reality experience for participants aged 10 and above.

Is there a dress code?

No.

Will the event have merchandise for sale?

Yes! There will be products for sale in the store.

Where can I buy tickets?

On the Fever app on Google Play and the Apple Store or on the Fever website

Can I buy tickets at the venue?

We will have a box office at the venue. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event. We recommend you booking your tickets in advance to guarantee your place. You can buy tickets on the Fever app or on the Fever website.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It's as easy as clicking "Transfer tickets" on your ticket in the Fever app. Contact us if you need additional help. Don't forget to include the ticket order number.

Do I need to print my ticket?

You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Don't forget to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.

I can't find my ticket. What should I do?

You can view your ticket in the Fever app, in the tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account you used when purchasing the tickets. If you still can't find your ticket, please contact us.

Am I entitled to a refund? What is the exchange policy?

Subject to availability, date and/or time changes are permitted up to 48 hours before your experience's start time. In this case, please contact us and provide your ticket ID. Refunds are not permitted under any circumstances. For more information, please consult our T&Cs.

Can I make a group reservation?

Do I need to arrive before my scheduled session?

You should arrive at the time indicated on your ticket; late entry is not permitted.

Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?

No animals are allowed at the event venue - not even service animals.

Is the event venue accessible?

Yes, the event venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

What items are prohibited at the experience? Can I smoke or vape?

Smoking or vaping is not permitted at the event venue.

Are tickets for companions offered free of charge?

Visitors who need assistance during the experience are entitled to request 1 free ticket for their companion. After you have purchased your ticket (it is essential to have a valid ticket before requesting it), contact us for more information at ola@feverup.com.

Is the experience accessible for people with visual or hearing impairments?

The visual content of our immersive expedition is not subtitled, so it is not suitable for clients with hearing impairments. We are doing our best to make all our experiences inclusive and recommend that you check out other experiences available in your city.

Will there be strobe lights?

No, there will be no strobe lights.

Are chairs available? Can I remain seated during the experience/exhibition?

This is not a seated experience, so there will be no seating available during the event. However, we have chairs available in the waiting room.

Will there be restrooms available on-site?

This venue has restrooms available, please ask our on-site staff for directions.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

No photos are allowed in this experience, not even with your mobile phone.

Is there a Lost and Found?

We recommend asking the venue staff if they found your belongings. If you cannot ask at the venue, please contact us at ola@feverup.com.

Is there a place to store coats/backpacks at the venue?

The event venue has a cloakroom available, however, we do not store large items such as backpacks. Please ask our on-site staff for directions.
